Jaksch Rips Gwinnett County for 5 Hits
|
Milos Jaksch put on a hitting clinic today as the Grim Reapers dumped the Gwinnett County Black Cats 6-3 at The Coffin.
The Grim second baseman made Gwinnett County defenders earn their pay, lashing Gwinnett County pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."
"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Jaksch said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
Milos Jaksch doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
Jaksch is hitting .328 this year with 1 home run and 29 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .403, 26 walks and scored 35 times.
