The D.C. Divided did just enough to sneak past the Panama City Piranhas, 4-3, at The Tank. D.C. pitcher Bill Oulton earned player of the game honors. Denver Milne got credit for the save for D.C.. It was his 4th of the year. The win pushes D.C. to a record of 6-7.
With a runner on 3rd and two out in the top of the first inning, designated hitter Obidiah Lewis delivered big for the Divided. D.C. was leading 1-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth.
