Guzzlers Get Road Win, 4-2
|
Galesburg Guzzlers starter Robby Oglethorpe was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Gwinnett County Black Cats, 4-2. The save went to Mark Zaugg, his 8th this season. Galesburg, at 27-18, sits in second place in the Premier A.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when designated hitter Jeremy Migliorati, who is tied for 9th in the PA with a .314 batting average, hit a double. The Guzzlers went on to win.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Migliorati said.
