Generals Bang Out 7-2 Win Versus Gwinnett County
|
The Washington Generals stymied the Gwinnett County Black Cats, 7-2, at Washington Park. Robin Colwill, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs for Washington. The Generals bumped their record to 17-15 with this latest triumph.
Silas Givens aided the Washington cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the right fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
