Late Rally by Guzzlers Secures Win
|
Franklin Camarena pitched a gem to lead Galesburg to a 2-1 victory over the South Beach Blaze. Mark Zaugg closed the game out for Galesburg, earning his 4th save. The Guzzlers bumped their record to 16-12 with this latest triumph.
The Guzzlers got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Jeremy Migliorati. For the game, Migliorati went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Galesburg a 2-1 lead.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Camarena said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
