Tula Best Reapers in Pitching Duel

The Chicago Tula faced a tough opponent in Grim pitcher António Fernández, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ramblers Ballpark by a final score of 2-0. Fernández went 6 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Chicago reliever Jason Todd picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. António Fernández shouldered the loss. Mark Morgan earned the save for Chicago, his 5th of the year.
Augusto Trejo was a key contributor to the win for the Tula. In the bottom of the seventh with no one out, the light-hitting second baseman stroked a triple to center. He went 1-3 with a triple.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Chicago manager Joe Richard.
The Tula now have a mark of 9-14.
