The Bellevue Bruins racked up a win at The Dragon Den, bumping off the Yellowknife Dragonblood, 4-2. Scott Morrison, who started for Bellevue, pitched effectively for his team. The save went to Caodong Liu, his 8th this season. The Bruins raised their record to 45-44.

Vicente Gonzáles didn't waste any time giving his team the lead. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to put Bellevue on top, 1-0.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Gonzáles.
