Yellowknife turned a good effort from starter Van Lapointe into a win over the Bellevue Bruins at The Dragon Den. The final score was 4-0. Yellowknife is now 39-49. Bellevue is 44-44.

Lapointe, who was born in Canada, threw 108 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no earned runs.

"Coulda, shoulda, woulda," said Bellevue manager José Vázquez. "We had our chances and didn't cash in."
