Cauldrons Squelch Herons Offense in Shutout Win
The Hogsmeade Cauldrons went home winners at Gators Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Terence Roberts. Roberts silenced the Hammond Herons, enabling Hogsmeade to grab the 3-0 win. In 6.1 innings, Roberts surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 12 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Brian Peeks got the save, his 3rd in 4 chances.

Mariano Saelices hit a 2-run double off Tom Hegedus in the bottom of the first, which put the Cauldrons in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Saelices had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

In postgame comments to the Hogsmeade Chronicle, Roberts said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
