Bellevue pitcher Scott Morrison did his part in helping his team beat the Syracuse Storm, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Morrison got the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed 5 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. Morrison allowed 2 earned runs. Pedro Ortíz converted his 1st save in 2 tries.
Bellevue grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Shirai Yoshida delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 4-3 in favor of the Bruins.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Morrison.
