The Bruins faced a stiff challenge from Hogsmeade pitcher Kian-tat Ts'ai, but persevered to claim a win at Gators Ballpark. The final score was 3-1. Ts'ai went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Paco Salazar earned the save for Bellevue, his 8th of the year. Bellevue has now won 3 straight, while the Cauldrons have lost 3 in a row.
The Bruins got a big at-bat from third baseman Félix Sánchez. For the game, Sánchez went 1 for 3 with a double. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Bellevue a 2-1 lead.
