Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Chiefs

The Connetquot Chiefs eked out a 3-2 win versus the Provo Mango at The Big Teepee. Nobody did more than pitcher Ed Molloy, who captured player of the game honors. Orynn Veillon got credit for the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The first-place Chiefs have a one-game lead in their division.
Dan Chrzan was the walk-off hero for Connetquot. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Chiefs designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Molloy.
