Delaware beat Bellevue on the strength of starter Mapuana Yara's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 7-2 win. Yodo Takano got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. Bellevue now has a 7-game losing streak.

Delaware took a 6-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, pinch hitter Elwiin Hund hit a grand slam home run that set the crowd abuzz.

Hund told a Delaware Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
