Saelices Rips Delaware for 5 Hits
Mariano Saelices put on a hitting clinic today as the Hogsmeade Cauldrons dumped the Delaware 1787 BC 4-3 at Carrier Field.

The Hogsmeade catcher made Delaware defenders earn their pay, lashing Delaware pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Saelices said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Mariano Saelices singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.
