Fans who came to Storm Park watched the Bellevue Bruins and the Syracuse Storm fight to the finish.
Bellevue center fielder Datu Lesaca picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Syracuse Storm, 4-3. Paco Salazar finished to wrap up his 1st save.
Lesaca had a key at-bat for Bellevue early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was his 9th hit of the season and gave Bellevue an early 3-1 lead.
"I like what I saw today," said Bellevue manager José Vázquez, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
The win pushes Bellevue to a record of 4-3.
