Bulls Win in Glorious Fashion
|
The Bulls faced a stiff challenge from Niagara Falls pitcher Miguel Longoria, but persevered to claim a win at Belleville Field. The final score was 2-1. Longoria went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Belleville occupies 9th place in the Menard's A at 37-48.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Belleville right fielder Cheh Zhi, facing Fidelio Zeri, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Bulls the 2-1 win.
"I felt good up there," said Zhi. "I saw the ball well."
