Herrewijn Sensational for Revolution
|
The York Revolution got a strong performance from pitcher Knud Herrewijn, who stymied the Belleville offense en route to a 2-1 win at York Park. At 47-37, York is in 5th place in the Menard's A.
Herrewijn was in the zone all game. He frustrated Belleville hitters while giving the Revolution 8 innings of quality work. Herrewijn threw 95 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 6 punchouts.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Herrewijn told reporters after the game.
