Mancelona center fielder Ángel Pérez had a good game, even if his team did not. The Torch dropped a 7-5 decision to Niagara Falls at Torch Field. Pérez went 3 for 4 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk. Phillip Davis got the save, the 1st for him this season. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Niagara Falls.

José Medina's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a slider from Oscar Kenselaar for a 2-run home run. It put Niagara Falls in front, 5-4.
