Martínez Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Nebraska in Walk-Off Win
The Mt. Vernon Bulls and Nebraska Plainsmen provided some drama at Plain Old Stadium.

Nebraska Plainsmen starter Hong-bin Hua was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Mt. Vernon Bulls, 4-3. Nebraska is now 32-46, while Mt. Vernon is 35-43.

Late in the game, second baseman Diego Martínez had a big at-bat for Nebraska. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single off Ramón Negrón. The play gave the Plainsmen a 4-3 lead.

"I was a little disappointed," said Mt. Vernon manager Jeff Walsh. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
