Plainsmen Lose, 4-1, at Jets Stadium
|
The Kennesaw Jets picked up a win at Jets Stadium, knocking off the Nebraska Plainsmen, 4-1. Starting pitcher John A. Mais, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Júlio Enríquez converted his 11th save in 12 tries. The winning continues for Kennesaw, with the latest making it 9 straight.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, second baseman Andy Holder came through big-time for the Jets. With Kennesaw leading 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Mais. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
