Jets Go Down to Defeat, 4-1
|
Mancelona Torch starter George Kane was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Kennesaw Jets, 4-1. Earning his 10th save for Mancelona was Geoffroy Cadaloba. Mancelona occupies 5th place in the Menard's A at 28-22.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out in the top of the third inning. That's when left fielder Emílio Agramónte, who is tied for 2nd in the 3A in home runs with 7, drew a walk. The Torch went on to win.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Agramónte told the Mancelona Today.
