Patriots Lose to Dodgers, 8-2
|
The Brooklyn Dodgers got a strong performance from pitcher Eddie Kop, who stymied the Boston offense en route to a 8-2 win at Dunkin Donuts Park. At 50-56, Brooklyn is in 5th place in the Premier League.
It could have been a different outcome for Brooklyn, had it not been for Oliver Aranda, the 31-year old center fielder . Aranda contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth inning to put Brooklyn up, 3-0.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Kop told the Brooklyn Chronicle.
