The Alameda Airmen defeated the Louisiana Dragoons, 7-0. Earning player of the game honors was left fielder Tom Woolever, who went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Alameda starter José Vélez was credited with the win after throwing 93 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. Pedro Rodríguez recorded his 1st save for Alameda.

Woolever had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Airmen went on to win.

"I thought we played a nice game," Woolever told the Alameda News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
