Highwood turned a good effort from starter Tao Zhou into a win over the Mt. Vernon Bulls at Hawks Field. The final score was 1-0. Scott Martin picked up the save for Highwood, his 11th of the year. Highwood has now won 4 straight.
Zhou allowed no runs over 7 innings. He also racked up 10 strikeouts.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Zhou said.
