Expos Get One-Run Win at Mancelona
|
Fans who came to Torch Field watched the Niagara Falls Expos and the Mancelona Torch fight to the finish.
Niagara Falls Expos starter Song Tsang turned in a sterling performance against the Mancelona Torch, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. In 7.1 innings, Tsang surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs.
Domingo Altamiraño, who is tied for 3rd in the 3A in home runs with 5, helped out the Niagara Falls cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 4 with a walk.
"It was a good effort all around," said Altamiraño.
Niagara Falls occupies second place in the Menard's A at 21-12.
