Red-Hot St. Brown Scorches Shooters

Fur Traders second baseman Amon-Ra St. Brown had his way with Springfield pitching today at Ballpark of Tacoma and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Shooters ruined his great day by toppling the Fur Traders, 5-4.
"I had a great day, but you've got to give Springfield credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits."
"Oh, we noticed what St. Brown did today," Shooters skipper John Carney said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."
Amon-Ra St. Brown singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
St. Brown is hitting .283 so far this season with 52 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 86 hits including 14 home runs, 26 walks and .340 OBP.
