The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles and starting pitcher Raimo Kangas stifled the Richland offense en route to a comfortable 9-1 win at Mercer Island Grounds. The save went to Esteban Miroz, his 6th this season. Mercer Island improves to 61-34 with the win. They lead their division by 8 games.

In the bottom of the fifth, Mercer Island center fielder Serious Lee had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and one out, Lee stroked a 2-run double to left. It made the score 3-1, Mercer Island. For the game, he was 1-4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
