|
Springfield Stadium was the site of a exceptional pitchers' duel.
The Springfield Shooters got a stellar effort from pitcher Song-saeng Kim, helping Springfield score a 2-1 win over the visiting Richland Rails. Dermot Eridge sewed up the save, his 19th.
Lev Migranov aided the Springfield cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Richland manager Emílio Sáenz.
Springfield has now won 3 straight, while the Rails have lost 5 in a row.
