The Northville Eclipse got a strong performance from pitcher Ricardo Fraga, who stymied the Chesapeake offense en route to a 11-2 win at Chesapeake Grounds. The winning pitcher was Fraga, now 8-5. He tossed 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 6. Northville is now 51-40.
Sidney Mackell, who is tied for 3rd in the PAA in bases on balls with 53, aided the Northville cause with a 2-run double in the top of the third. For the game, the center fielder was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
