Castillo Leads Patriots to Win over Rainbow Mermaids
Boston catcher Gerardo Castillo was instrumental in his team's 8-1 win over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids. Castillo, who is a two-time Gold Glove winner, went 4-5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Patriots. Boston is now 44-56.

Francisco Agámez, who is tied for 3rd in the PL in stolen bases with 33, aided the Boston cause with a 2-run triple in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder was 1-5 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

Agámez told a Boston Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
