Minnesota second baseman Rubén Medina had a good game, even if his team did not. The Loons dropped a 10-9 decision to Durham at Rapiers Ballpark. Medina was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Mark Sinclair, credited with the save, is now 12 for 15 in save opportunities. The win puts the Rapiers at 40-43, while the Loons drop to 46-37.

Yoshi Kouda, who is rated as the 79th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Durham cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
