Rails Come Back Late to Top Fur Traders
The Tacoma Fur Traders got a superb performance from pitcher Luis Castrejón, but the Richland Rails still won the game, 4-1. Castrejón was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. The win was credited to Armando Ríos in relief. His record improves to 3-5. Luis Castrejón took the loss. The Fur Traders, at 30-50, have lost 12 straight games.

Bill Bambridge's at-bat in the top of the ninth inning was a big one for Richland. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Richland leading 2-1, the shortstop hit a 2-run single.

"We put together a nice win," Bambridge said.
