Chiang Hits 2 home runs in Divided Win
It was a good time at Washington Stadium, where fans came to watch the Portland Evergreens and D.C. Divided get after it.

Behind a solid performance from left fielder Yao-pang Chiang, the D.C. Divided defeated the Portland Evergreens, 11-3. Chiang slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Divided. The winner was Iván Vázquez, who threw 109 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits.

Chiang had a key at-bat for D.C. early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and gave D.C. an early 2-0 lead.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Chiang.

The Divided saw their win-loss record go to 41-58. At the same time, the Evergreens fell to 69-30.
