Fur Traders Lose Again, 3-1, to Rails
|
The Rails faced a stiff challenge from Tacoma pitcher Álex Hernández, but persevered to claim a win at Ballpark of Tacoma. The final score was 3-1. Hernández went 6.2 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Tacoma, at 30-49, has lost 11 straight.
One important at-bat came with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth inning. Facing Tacoma hurler Álex Hernández, Juan Rosado, who is tied for 7th in the PAA in stolen bases with 17, hit a run-scoring single. The Rails went on to win.
"I know we have our doubters," said Tacoma manager David Márquez. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
