Screaming Eagles Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles picked up a win at Mercer Island Grounds, knocking off the Tacoma Fur Traders, 2-1. Starting pitcher Harrison Tuff was an essential part of his team's success. Mercer Island reliever Leo Ingelbrigtsen was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Pedro Pérez. Tacoma has now lost 8 straight.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Mercer Island shortstop Arnold Griffith, facing Pedro Pérez, had a run-scoring double. It gave the Screaming Eagles the 2-1 win.
