Late Rally by Eclipse Secures Win

Masahiro Sakei pitched well, but his team, the Phoenix Hotspur Youth, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Northville Eclipse at Old-Timers Park. José Quintero picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Masahiro Sakei was tagged with the loss. Vaugh Chesser closed it out for his 19th save.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and no one out in the bottom of the third inning. That's when right fielder Quentin Harrop, who is tied for 7th in the PAA in triples with 3, drew a walk. The Eclipse went on to win.
"We take it day by day here," said Harrop, "and today was a good one for us."
The winning streak has now reached 9 games for the Eclipse.
