Shooters Reel Off Another Win
|
Springfield Shooters starter Tony DeWitt was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Minnesota Loons, 6-0. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Springfield.
In the bottom of the second inning, designated hitter Lee Charles delivered a key hit for the Shooters. With Springfield leading 1-0, he ripped a 2-run home run.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Charles told the Springfield Citizen.
