The D.C. Divided grabbed a 5-3 win over the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids at Atlantica. D.C. catcher Mario Castillo went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once to earn player of the game honors. Roberto Silva converted his 7th save in 7 tries. D.C. has now won 3 in a row.

Castillo had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-1 splitter from Natalino Golaio, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Divided a 4-3 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Castillo.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Castillo told the D.C. Citizen.
