The Chesapeake Continentals picked up a win at Chesapeake Grounds, knocking off the Northville Eclipse, 4-3. Starting pitcher David Gómez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Gómez went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 4, and struck out 7. His record improves to 1-2. With the win, Chesapeake elevates its record to 9-11.

Brian Moring, who is tied for 2nd in the PAA in home runs with 4, aided the Chesapeake cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the catcher drew 2 walks.
