Longnecks Win at Milton, 7-4
|
The Bloomington Longnecks topped the Milton Dogfish Head, 7-4, in USPL Triple A action at Milton Corner Tavern. The player of the game was Bloomington pitcher and Langport, England native Geoff Stackhouse. Bloomington occupies second place in the Premier AAA at 59-42.
Ty Struck, the 30 overall pick in the 2024 draft, helped out the Bloomington cause in the top of the first inning with a 2-run triple. For the game, the third baseman went 2 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Stackhouse.
