The Bloomington Longnecks topped the Salt Lake City Buzz, 5-4, in USPL Triple A action at Lookouts Ballpark. The player of the game was Bloomington pitcher and Santiago, Dominican Republic native Gabriel Valenzuela. Bloomington goes to 57-38, Salt Lake City to 60-35.

The Longnecks were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when shortstop Martín Martínez turned a 2-1 cutter from Scott Mildren into a 2-run home run. The walk-off home run sent a roar through the crowd and gave Bloomington a thrilling 5-4 win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Bloomington manager Terrence Mitchell.
