Buzz Hang 10-7 Loss on Longnecks
|
Bloomington right fielder César Gómes had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-7, to Salt Lake City at Lookouts Ballpark. Gómes went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Salt Lake City reliever Jorge Mejía picked up the win to move to 3-0. Atila Freska suffered the loss. Salt Lake City is now 60-34, 4 games up in the Premier AAA.
In the top of the third, Roberto Soto hit a 2-run double for Salt Lake City. The 4th double of the season for the Salt Lake City third baseman put the Buzz on top, 5-3.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Salt Lake City manager Allen Bartlett.
