Longnecks Clip Rocks in Tight Contest
Plymouth pitcher Octavius Pringle gave the Longnecks all they could handle, but in the end, Bloomington left Plymouth Quarry with a 6-4 win. Pringle allowed 4 earned runs on 6 hits over 7.1 innings. Ieyoshi Asai closed it out for his 16th save. Bloomington is now 52-37.

Bloomington used the timely hitting of Bubba Blevins to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Longnecks on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Blevins said after the game.
