Buzz Win Again, Extend Streak to 6
|
The exploits of right fielder Jérôme Masson, who is rated as the 24th best prospect by BNN, helped the Salt Lake City Buzz defeat the Milton Dogfish Head, 4-2. Masson was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs. Salt Lake City leads the Premier AAA by 2½ games.
The Buzz got a lift from designated hitter Scott Ramsey who had a run-scoring strikeout in the top of the first inning off Rich Choquette. It was his 52nd RBI of the season and put Salt Lake City in front, 1-0.
"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Salt Lake City manager Allen Bartlett.
