Dogfish Head Come Up Short at Calgary
|
Calgary Lynx starter Miguel López turned in a sterling performance against the Milton Dogfish Head, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. López got the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed 6 hits and walked 4 over 7.2 innings. López allowed 2 earned runs. The 'W' lifts Calgary's record to 44-40.
Calgary grabbed control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Francisco Santos delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 3-2 in favor of the Lynx.
"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," López said.
