Grey Wolves Come Back Late to Clip Evergreens
Vancouver Grey Wolves starter Ray Skipworth pitched a strong game against the Portland Evergreens at Wolf Den in Vancouver, leading the Grey Wolves to a 5-4 win. Vancouver now has a 3-game win streak.

In the bottom of the 8th, designated hitter Preston Witt gave Vancouver the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Grey Wolves had been trailing 4-3, but the two-out double off Portland pitcher Júlio Rodríguez changed that -- and Vancouver went on to win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Witt told the Vancouver Daily News.
