Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Gilberto Rodríguez, the Calgary Lynx defeated the Tortolita Drummers, 6-3. Rodríguez went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Lynx. Juan Pérez was credited with the save for Calgary, his 4th of the season. The Lynx now have a record of 38-35 with the win over Tortolita.
Early in the game, Rodríguez had a 2-run home run for Calgary. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Lynx on top, 2-0.
