Bloomington played host to Calgary at the friendly confines of Lookouts Ballpark.

A 4-RBI performance from John Schaefer, the 23 overall pick in the 2030 draft, helped the Bloomington Longnecks beat the Calgary Lynx, 7-6. Bloomington reliever Ieyoshi Asai picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Gustavo López shouldered the loss.

Schaefer contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Bloomington in the bottom of the ninth. With his team trailing 6-3, Schaefer took a cutter from Gustavo López and stroked the home run to right. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Longnecks to leap in front, 7-6.

"This wasn't a good win," said Schaefer. "It was a great win."

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Longnecks.
