Milton left fielder Edward Woodstock made his presence felt in the 6-3 Dogfish Head triumph over the Plymouth Rocks. Woodstock was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Allen Duer was the winner. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Ronaldo Matos got the save, the 1st for him this season.
Early in the game, Woodstock had a 2-run home run for Milton. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Dogfish Head on top, 5-3.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Woodstock said.
Milton is now 27-45. Plymouth is 30-42.
