Buzz Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
The Salt Lake City Buzz topped the Tortolita Drummers by the score of 6-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Alistair Mix. Mix was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Buzz on the day. Salt Lake City reliever Bart Gresham was credited with the win, to go to 4-3. Paul Díaz took the loss for Tortolita. The save went to Lorenzo López, his 1st this season.
Mix had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Buzz went on to win.
"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Buzz manager Allen Bartlett, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
The first-place Buzz have a one-game lead in their division.
